FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your rugs handmade?
Yes. Our rugs are handwoven in Morocco by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques. Because each piece is handmade, small variations in dimensions, patterns and details are part of its unique character.

What materials are used?
Materials are specified on each product page. Many of our rugs are woven using natural sheep wool, while construction and materials can vary depending on the rug style.

Where are your rugs made?
Our rugs are made in Morocco, with many pieces crafted by artisans in the Atlas Mountains and other traditional rug-weaving regions.

Do you offer custom rugs?
Yes. We can create rugs in custom sizes, colors and designs. Visit our Custom Rugs page or contact us to discuss your project.

How long does a custom rug take to make?
Production time depends on the rug’s size, design and weaving technique. We will provide an estimated production time when your custom order is confirmed.

How long does shipping take?
Express delivery generally takes around 3–5 business days after dispatch. You will receive tracking information once your rug has shipped.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship our rugs internationally from Morocco. Available shipping options and any applicable import requirements may vary by destination.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
Depending on your country, your order may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import fees. These are determined by the destination country's regulations.

Can I return my rug?
Eligible rugs can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Unless the rug arrives damaged or there has been an error with the order, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for full details.

Can I return a custom-made rug?
Because custom and made-to-order rugs are created specifically for you, they are generally not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or differ materially from the agreed specifications.

Will my rug look exactly like the photographs?
Handmade rugs naturally have slight variations in weaving, dimensions and colors. Colors can also appear slightly different depending on lighting and your screen.

How should I care for my Moroccan rug?
Regular gentle care will help preserve your rug. Avoid aggressive vacuuming, particularly on handmade pile rugs, and attend to spills promptly. For deeper cleaning, we recommend using a professional cleaner experienced with handmade wool rugs.
